Bio
ComManda comes to Washington, DC from the Windy City Rollers in Chicago. She recently relocated to use her skills for more good than evil. She found roller derby back in 2012 at the insistence of her very wise mom who thought roller derby would be the way to find her soul sisters in life and sport. ComManda has coached both adult and junior leagues. She finds particular joy in helping young skaters just starting out ~ be it 10 to 17 year olds in her junior league from Chicago or new DCRG skaters. She was given her derby name by her young skaters in Chicago, because those young skaters believe a woman should be our Commander in Chief, so she was theirs.
